A ride to the Garretson area takes you back in history. It's almost as if you've completely left South Dakota and have suddenly transported yourself to another land, complete with wandering streams, and lots of rocky terrain. Located near Devils Gulch, this riding venue offers you the opportunity to see the areas where Frank and Jesse James once roamed.

Palisades State Park offers beautiful scenery and lots of photo opportunities. Split Rock Creek winds through the park, and the unique red Sioux quartzite cliffs can be seen lining the banks of the creek. Wear good hiking boots, take a lunch, and enjoy the view!
