Building in Historical District - Hobart, Tasmania

These photos were taken while on a port visit to Hobart, Tasmania in July, 1994.  Notice that the sun seems to be low and the daylight dim at times.  Also notice that one of the mountain peaks (Mount Nelson) has snow on it in a few of the shots.  That is because July is in the very middle of Winter there.  Tasmania is south of the main continent of Australia.  While we were there, it snowed, but not very much.  It got chilly at times, but was also very mild.  The pictures that were taken out on the water were taken from the ship.  We did not pull up to a pier:  1)  Because there were none that could support an aircraft carrier, and 2)  The people of Tasmania are not real crazy about having a nuclear powered aircraft carrier nearby.
