Driving up Colorado Highway 14 From Fort Collins.  This highway winds through Poudre Canyon, along the Poudre river, and heads into Roosevelt National Forest.  This particular set of photos was taken on April 11, 2004.  Fort Collins had just received a few inches of snow from a spring snow storm, while the higher elevations received several inches.  The snow in Fort Collins had disappeared by the end of the day.  Notice how the snow gets progressively deeper the higher we get!

From Fort Collins, take College Avenue (Highway 287) north west to highway 14.  The photos on this page were all taken along this particular highway.
