The Stanley Hotel, Estes Park, Colorado

The photos below of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park are a combination of a few trips.  Some were taken in the Spring of 2003, while we were on my job interview trip to visit USDA in Fort Collins.  I took a few more on a motorcycle ride in the summer of 2003, and we all went up a few more times after that in Fall and Winter 2003.  As soon as I can locate the rest of the photos of these areas, I will post them here.

From Fort Collins, take College Avenue (Highway 287) South through Loveland to highway 34.  Take highway 34 to Estes Park, and have lunch!.  Go west on highway 34 to Rocky Mountain National Park.  Keep going - you can take Trail Ridge Road up and into the park to the Alpine Visitor's Center and over the Continental Divide, with its highest point at 12,100 feet above sea level.
