Devil's Tower, Northeastern Wyoming

Devil's Tower is located in North Eastern Wyoming, and is part of the Black Hills National Forest.  The tower is reported to be the inner core of a volcano, of which the outer mountain had fallen away.  The tower is located along a scenic byway of approximately 85 miles, that can go as far east as Spearfish South Dakota, and winding through the Devil's Tower area in Wyoming.
